Information
This mountain has a sole peak of great bulk.
If you begin to climb the mountain, you will find a thick forest which reminds you of a jungle area out of man's reach and understand the meaning of the survival of the fittest.
Mount-climbing begins from 'Neureupjae', which is 397 meters high and the border of Jangyeon-myon and Kammul-myon.
There being no water, you should provide some potable-water in Kamnamugol nearby Neureupjae.
As the forest is luxuriant, so there are lots of mountain birds in the forest, and they chatter one another.
Around the peak, there are a stone of fiducial point and an empty lot provided as spacious as 20 pyeong.
Regarding Bakdal Mountain as a sacred mountain, people of this village performed a religious service every year.
And they believe that it never fails in raining after a religious service.
Though other mountains attract in its magnificent shape, Bakdal Mountain is neither magnificent nor excellent, but you'll feel yourselves to be a part of the mountain in it.
