CERTIFICATO IT exam
A thorough training course for the Certificato IT exam
at the University of Roma Tre. Advanced grade, corresponding
to grade C2 of the European Council.
Certificato IT exams can also be taken at the Italian Cultural Institute
in your own country.

PROGRAM FOUR
ITALIAN LANGUAGE and CULTURAL EXCURSIONS and WALKS
Euro 995,00 per week.
20 hours weekly of on-site Italian language tuition during excursions and visits
to local towns and historical attractions with your teacher as your guide.
Visits, according to family-based program, to Florence, the Chianti Wine Area, Fiesole, San Gimignano, Siena
and other Tuscan towns. Homestay and excursions also available in Sicily.
Visits are conducted either entirely on foot, or both by car and on foot, or by bus and train and on foot,
according to the program chosen.
During the excursions and walks, your teacher will adapt her level of language to conform to, and improve, your current knowledge of Italian.
PROGRAM FIVE
ITALIAN LANGUAGE and COOKING ACTIVITIES
Euro 995,00 per week.
Total of 20 hours weekly shared between language tuition and cooking..
You will be taught the art of interpreting the language of Italian recipes, the technique used in preparing the ingredients for cooking, tasting and setting the table in the traditional Tuscan manner. You will visit the local stores and weekly market with your teacher to identify and select the appropriate ingredients recipes.
PROGRAM SIX
ITALIAN LANGUAGE and ART IN FLORENCE
in a splendid 5-star villa in Florence
Euro 1.215,oo per week
20 hours weekly of introductory work on drawing, watercolour and tempera.
Practical work in the large studio of the host teacher who is an internationally
acclaimed artist.

- Amerigo Vespucci airport at exit gate.
- Central railway station, Santa Maria Novella. When you get off the train, walk to the end of the track and turn left. Walk towards the exit. Just before the exit, on the right, is a pharmacy-FARMACIA-with a green cross over the door. A member of the host family will be there to meet you.
MEETING POINTS FOR SIENA HOMESTAYS
- Amerigo Vespucci airport in Florence, or Santa Maria Novella central railway station, as above.
- Siena railway station. A member of the family will meet you there at your arrival platform.
- By bus from Florence to Siena. The SITA bus service to Siena leaves regularly from the station square in Florence. Enquire at the SITA bus office.
