Every October along with the Gaecheon Grand Festival, the Ganghwa Dolmen Festival takes place. It offers the chance for tourists to experience both the UNESCO designated Ganghwa dolmens and the many other natural and historical resources of the region. There are all sorts of remnants from the past in Ganghwa, ranging from relics from prehistoric times to artifacts from the fairly recent Joseon era. Learn about the history and wisdom of Korea’s ancestors through the cultural events and historical sites of interest available in the region.
