Ganggyeong Salted Seafood Festival where visitors can enjoy the true taste of Korean salted seafood will be held at Ganggyeong-eup, Ganggyeong Port, Ganggyeong salted Seafood market, and Ongnyeobong Peak in Nonsan-si, Chungcheongnam-do. The festival is aimed at
promoting Ganggyeong salted seafood with its 100- year history to the public by processing salted seafood using less salt to suit the palate of modern people and using scientific fermentation methods.
The festival features diverse programs on salted seafood and fun-filled hands-on experience programs such as traditional oxcart rides. Tourists are invited to the festival where they can view Ganggyeong Port where sailing boats with canvas visited 100 years ago, taste Ganggyeong salted seafood and enjoy the late autumn scenery
unfolding along the reed fields beside the Geumgang River.
