A festival featuring six top Korean women musicians titled "Korea Lilith Fair 2004 : Yeoak Yeorak" is held at Ewha Women's University on Novemeber 26. Yeoak Yeorock was first held in 2000, aiming to become the Lilith Fair of Korea. In Yeoak Yoerock 2004, well known women musicians of Korea such as Lee Sang-eun, Yun Bok-hee, and Han Young-ae will perform, presenting music ranging from intimate acoustic songs to rock and hip hop. The musicians featured at the festival are considered progressive artists of the Korean music scene. For example, Yoon Mi-rae is one of the first generation women rappers in Korea who proved that rap is not just for men. Lee Sang-eun, also known as Lee Tzche, made her debut at a song contest for college students in 1988. She started her career by singing catchy pop songs, but later found her own distinct color as a musician. The profits made in the festival will be donated to victims of sexual violence.
