Lee Kun Yong vs. Koh Seung Wook - third title match exhibition: At Ssamzie Space from today until Feb. 17. "Darkness Visible" - Photos by Michael Ackerman: At Gallery Lumiere until Feb. 20. Ackerman is a cosmopolitan photographer who has shot eerie views of New York night clubs and Indian landscapes. "Refrain-Balkan, Okinawa, Korea" Group show: At Total Museum of Art until Jan. 16. While a strange mixture of countries, this show manages to pull together some interesting artists. "Rodin, Bourdel, Maillol" - Three Modern sculptors: At Rodin Gallery until Feb. 6. The muscular and graceful figurative sculptures by three great French masters will be on display at the gallery, which is incidentally named after Rodin. "400 Years of Western Art: From Poussin to Matisse": At Hangaram Art Museum, Seoul Arts Center until April 3. This blockbuster show brings over 100 works of some of Western art's greatest masters: Poussin, Ingres, David and Courbet are just a few on the star-studded roster. The idea of games and play are at the center of this show, which fills up the entire three-storey building with computer-based works, videos and interactive installations. Included are actual interactive games, an animation featuring dolls giving birth, a video of people getting splattered with a variety of food and purring couches. "Flat Architecture"-Kim Soo-young paintings: At Alternative Space Loop until Jan. 14. Kim paints the concrete and steel structured apartments that abound in Paris, Marseilles and Berlin designed by Le Corbusier. Robert Indiana solo show: At Gallery Hyundai until Jan. 16. Indiana is one of the best-known art icons of American Pop art. Jenny Holzer solo show: At Kukje Gallery until Jan. 23. Holzer is well-known as an artist who has examined the notion of public spaces and art since the 1970s. "A New Past" - Balkans and Korea exchange exhibition: At Marronnier Art Center until Feb. 3. "Rethinking Go-Am" Lee Ungno Centennial Exhibition: At National Museum of Art, Deoksugung until Feb. 13. Lee was one of the first Korean artists to experiment with abstract expressionism and meld it with traditional Korean calligraphy and painting. He was also a controversial figure due to his progressive political views during Korea's military regimes. This is a large-scale retrospective exhibition marking the 100th anniversary of Lee's birth. Young Artists exhibition: At National Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea (Gwacheon) until Jan. 23. This show brings together 19 artists under 40 from Korea, Japan and China. "Muse-Um?: Companionship of Plurality" - architecture show: At Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art until April 9.
