The cherry blossoms are expected to bloom 6-8 days later than last year. The cherry blossoms will first bloom in Seogwipo around March 26 and then work their way up the peninsula. The southern part of the peninsula and areas near the East Sea can see cherry blossoms in bloom from March 30 to April 7 and the middle regions of the country from April 6-12. Other regions, including central mountainous regions are forecasted to bloom around April 12. Please keep in mind that dates may vary slightly depending on weather conditions.
