Subject : Classes on Korean History and Culture
Classes on Korean History and Culture for Foreigners

The Korean Overseas Information Service (KOIS) and the Institute of International Education (IIE) of Kyung Hee University will present classes on Korean history and culture for foreigners from April 25 to 29.

The classes, which are organized under the joint sponsorship of Dong-A Ilbo, The Korea Times, Arirang TV are open to all foreigners residing in Korea, free of charge.

A group of experts on Korean history and culture as well as politics, economics and "Korean Wave" will conduct classes in English, Chinese and Japanese and printed materials will be given to participants before each class. The classes will be held on the Kyung Hee University campus 7:00 to 8:30 pm daily.

There will also be a traditional Korean dance performance and Taekwondo demonstration during the closing ceremony. Meanwhile, participants with excellent attendance will be given an opportunity to visit Samsung Electronics, Korean Folk Village and Pottery Village in Icheon City on May 2.

Interested foreign nationals are requested to submit an application stating name, nationality, telephone number and job title to IIE.
