A research shows most foreign superintendents working at dockyards choose to spend their summer vacation in Korea. (Dockyard superintendents are dispatched employees of foreign technicians from foreign shipping companies to oversea vessel constructions.)
Their two favorite vacation locations are Jejudo Island and Seoul’s Insa-dong district.

Samsung Heavy Industries ran a survey among 602 foreign superintendents working at Gyeongnam Geojaedo’s dockyard on their summer vacation plans. Of the total 602 respondents, 288 (47.8%) replied they plan to spend their summer vacation in Korea.
33.0% of the respondents revealed they planned to return home for their summer vacation, and the rest 19.1% said they would be traveling to other foreign countries of their vacation.
For the question asking where in Korea would the respondents like to spend the summer vacation, 39.13% of the respondents revealed that they would like to spend their summer vacation in Jejudo Island. 30.43% replied they would like to visit Insa-dong, Seoul.
For the question asking where they can gather information for travel, 45.2% replied they gather information through the internet. 32.1% replied fellow workers, and 4.3% replied that they gather information through books and media.
